This is the missing link between the home machine and the professional machine. What separates the pros with the high end home units is generally considered to be the lack of a rotary pump and adjunct pressure regulator, versus a vibrating pump with little pressure regulation, and limited steam generation. This little jewel has the same group head assembly as the Spazio, dedicated large 2.5 liter steam boiler for ample frothing and .5 liter boiler for coffee, full rotary pump/pressure regulator and electric motor, electronic steam and water temperature regulation. It also has a power saving mode for the home in which only one of the boilers heat at one time.

 

The Vivaldi comes equipped for direct plumbing with a 110v/20 amp cord cap. This machine like all other espresso machines must have a soft water supply, either from natural sources or using a resin soft water system. It is equipped with a drip tray which does not to be plumbed but needs to be emptied daily if machine is left on. In addition one single and one double portafilters are included with their respective spouts and filter baskets. This machine like all La Spaziale may be equipped with a pod adapter kit which includes head replacement, diffuser screen and filter basket. With the pod adapter kit you may brew single or double pods. Since this machine is not for heavy coffee bar volume, we recommend using it equipped with the pod adapter kit which allows you to make perfect single or double espresso drinks without the headache and mess of an adjunct grinder.
